This Toyota Corolla AE86 Coupe came in for some electronics work including a 2-way alarm, head unit, and dash cam. Because the car is not driven often, the customer opted for a battery pack. The battery pack may not get to charge up often but it's helpful for giving the car parking mode without killing the already weak battery. We installed the Thinkware iVolt battery pack under the driver's seat, since there aren't really any electronics and wiring in this area there's nothing to really look out for. The customer went for the top of the line Thinkware U1000 with 4K front camera and 2K rear camera.
As this is quite a rare and collectable car, having a dash cam will help against prying eyes. This generation Corolla is one of the first to take a double din without any real modification. In the lower pocket we fitted the Pioneer AVH-2500NEX which has DVD, USB, bluetooth, and most importantly, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
