Full meal deal for the triplets (Subaru BRZ, Scion FRS, Toyota 86) featuring ACT clutch and flywheel kit. This kit uses the ACT Heavy duty street sprung clutch and streetlite flywheel (11.8 lbs). Stock flywheel is roughly 20 lbs in comparison. In addition we replace and upgrade several common points of failure on the FT86 drivetrains and include a much stronger forged clutch fork and pivot from Verus Engineering.
This upgraded clutch kit is rated for up to 273 ft-lbs of torque and should be ample to take much more track abuse than the factory unit. The throwout (release) bearing is replaced to eliminate the noise typical of most 86 gearboxes, and the clutch fork gets a significant upgrade and will not bend or crack like the factory unit. If the factory clutch fork fails it can cause catastrophic damage to the clutch and transmission. Whenever upgrading to a stronger pressure plate, a clutch fork upgrade is highly recommended.
